Nurturing Creativity
Children engage directly with materials and techniques, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the crafts. Each workshop provides insights into the history and cultural significance of the art forms, enriching children's knowledge and global awareness.
Ms.Priya, the founder of Arts and Artifacts. A very passionate graphic designer and a lover of tradition and culture.
The thought of having Arts and Artifacts for children came in when I met a lot of young minds with very low confidence in life. It is a science proven fact that the farther you move away from your tradition the more you loose your confidence. The only way for a person to be confident in his youth is to engage them with maximum tradition activities at their young age. Young as in as early as possible I would say.
But how?
Getting them work with the same old methods or asking families to change to olden day lifestyle is practically not possible.
This is where my design meets tradition. The idea of giving the child the experience of making art and craft using traditional things. By doing this, the child gets more interested towards creative work, diversions become less, focus increases, urge to repeat the work seems higher and more.

"This is Mahathi's Mom.we made our child to attend the summer camp without any idea. but after joining the class from day one it was a such a different experience of her, where she had a chance for experiencing the ancient games and there importance which she thoroughly enjoyed. The way you teached the crafts are really different, where the props you used and colors are all extracted in a natural way without any harm to environment is really a great inciative. Totally the summer camp from art and articrafts is not only a art of learning...it is just an experience for life time. Thanks for the idea and concept." Mahathi Mom
